April is a lifelong Floridian who began her banking career in the late 1990’s. April joined the Wauchula State Bank team in 2007 with a focus on Residential Lending. She loves all outdoor activities including gardening, fishing and spending time with her three sons.
Nettie Blum is a lifelong resident of Hardee County originally from Fort Meade, FL. Nettie received her MBA from Warner University and joined Wauchula State Bank in 2006. Nettie is an active member of the Wauchula Kiwanis Club and is Chairman of their annual clay shoot. In addition to hunting, Nellie loves diving and spear fishing.
Eduardo Maldonado was born and raised in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico. He started his career in banking in 1993 before moving to Florida in 1997. Eduardo joined Wauchula State Bank in 2005. He is fluent in English and Spanish and can assist with your consumer, residential or commercial lending needs. He has served on civic and nonprofit boards to include Commissioner of the Avon Park Housing Authority and Secretary of the Lake Placid Noon Rotary Club. He loves helping his customers through the process of buying or building their dream home.
Christy Page is a fifth generation Floridian who has remained in the heartland area. Christy began her banking career with Wauchula State Bank in 1990. Christy was an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Sebring for many years and served as Treasurer. She is currently on the Bartow Board of Realtors and involved with the Ft. Meade Chamber of Commerce. She enjoys the outdoors including hunting and fishing, and spending time with her family.
Claudia Bishop is a native Floridian who began her banking career in 1984 and joined the Wauchula State Bank family in 2015. Claudia has served in many civic and nonprofit boards, including Vice President of the Greater Lake Placid Chamber of Commerce, Co-Chairman of the United Way Allocation Board, and the Town of Lake Placid Planning Agency. She is an active member of the Business-2-Business Introductions Networking group and thrives on building relationships and obtaining a clear understanding of her client’s needs. Referrals are the greatest compliment that she can receive. She is an avid outdoorswoman that enjoys trail riding, camping and photography.
Julie Whitmire is lifelong resident of Lake Placid, Florida and started her banking career with Wauchula State Bank in June 1989. She loves her role, as a Residential Lender in her community become she “loves helping make dreams come true and being part of life’s most important decisions.” Julie is currently the Treasurer of the Lake Placid Junior Woman’s Club and in her spare time enjoys hunting and boating.
